Past due notices and late testing fees
If you have received a past due test notice, 15-day warning, or water shut-off notice, additional fees may apply. When a device is overdue, we often need to:
- Re-route a technician immediately
- Prioritize same-day or next-day testing
- Submit test reports to the water district urgently
Because of this, a $65.00 Late / Expedited Service Fee will be added to the standard test price.
When late fees apply
A late or expedited fee may be charged if:
- Your test due date has already passed
- You received a 15-day notice
- You received a shut-off notice
- You request urgent same-day or next-day testing
- The district requires immediate submission to avoid penalties
