Which water district serves my San Diego property?
The City of San Diego Public Utilities Department administers a cross-connection control program, but some San Diego addresses are served by another water agency. Use the provider named on the current notice or water bill for the requirement, approved tester process and filing instructions that apply to the property.
What does a test cost?
Testing for eligible domestic or irrigation backflow devices 2 inches and under is $90 and includes certification and district filing. Submission timing, district processing and acceptance can vary. Devices larger than 2 inches need a team review for pricing.
What happens if my device does not pass?
When a device fails, the technician explains what was found and the repair or replacement options. A standard rubber-kit repair for devices 2 inches and under is $560.20 plus tax with hard parts extra, but not every failed device qualifies, and repairability can’t be guaranteed until it is inspected.
What do you not work on?
